Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa Cebu

Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa Cebu is located in Quezon National Highway, Mactan Island Lapu-Lapu City Cebu. Owned by the Philippines BXT Corporation under the Imperial Palace international chain of resorts and is one of the many classy resorts in Cebu. Though funded by foreign investors, the resort was built to draw local and international visitors to boost Philippine tourism. Our government, I must say did a great job in calling out for this project to promote the Philippines as a whole, particularly Mactan Island. Constructed last 2008, it is the first and only waterpark in Cebu. Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa deserve its 5-star rating with all its facilities and exceptional service to its guests.

There are available floaters to borrow to ride the current in this artificial river.

My wife Ivane near the grand slide, it was closed for maintenance during our stay.

I really don't usually win contests or raffle draws. I think I only had 2 or 3 (major) winnings in my entire life, but I still consider myself lucky to have won the 1-day tour with lunch buffet for 2, in the luxurious Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa Cebu.

I've known this place ever since and I've also been wanting to visit it, but since its on the bottom of my to-go list, I most of the time left the plan out. Don't get me wrong, it's not in my priority list not because I don't like it there but because I've always chosen some out-of-town trips rather than a 30 minutes short drive (bad judgement i know).

After visiting the place, that was when I realized there are still plenty of local destinations in the Philippines worth a try and there are still 7,107 Islands I need to see.

IT'S EASY TO GO THERE:
  • From Mactan International Airport just ride a taxi cab and tell the driver to bring you to Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa Cebu.
  • If you are from the province, ride a bus either to the North or South Bus terminal (your location depends) and from that point ride a taxi going to Imperial Palace.

  20. We stayed at the hotel for 10 days last christmas and had a very nice time. The only thing we missed was a swimmingpool which were deeper than 1,5 meters and the possibility to dvive from a divingboard.

    1. you should have asked some attendants if they know anyone with connections to bring you to the nearest diving spot... :) maybe on your next travel here in Cebu.

10 days is a long stay in 1 resort/hotel.. im not saying you should but, just like when i went to Puerto Princesa Palawan (you should visit that place too) on my 6-day adventure, i checked in 2 different hotels. I like variety and i think I just took the opportunity to try out different places during my short visit..

I really appreciate you dropping by here.. :) thanks
